pumpkin for my 10 month lil punkin . . .

this time of year is always just sooo good for the soul
who doesn't love fall

brix loved the pumpkins
he would point & say ooooooooo
being a parent is such a gift
to watch him discover all the many things that this world has to offer
it's incredible!

& can anybody tell me how my baby just turned 10 months today!
seriously!
how do these months go by so fast, it kills me & i'm sure all you mummas can relate

brix is so smart & very very observant
he is starting to say doggie, ducky, bye bye, & were thinking he is trying to say water
this last week he took about 7 steps on his own
his hair is really coming in & blonde as can be
he still LOVES sweet potatoes
his new favorite food is pancakes with applesauce
still no teeth
he enjoys pointing at everything
his favorite toys are any kind of ball, oh & he can say bahhh (that means ball)
when we read him books he jibbers right along with us
& my most favorite is he loves to love, cuddles all day long, & really enjoys being in bed with mumma & daddy!

he is the sweetest little boy & i'll say it over & over again . . . i'm so lucky to be his mum!

now . . .

halloween is just right around the corner & so many of you have asked what are you going to dress up your lil guy as ?

& your doggies ?

well my people . . .

it's gonna be a GOOD one!

i can't wait ! ! !

38 weeks . . . & xmas traditions . . .

#38 weeks . . .

i thought i would never see that number coming

it's the MOST surreal thing to me

especially as the due date is getting closer

right now i'm feeling very very anxious

to meet him

& to have absolutely everything ready for his arrival

from hospital bag . . . to outfit . . . to car . . . to home . . . even to his name

so many people ask

"have you thought of any names?"

which is totally fine asking

i don't mind

BUT

honestly . . . i have had the hardest time coming up with a name for this lil boy

to name your very own blood line

it's a lot of pressure

we have some names we really like but i have to see him & hopefully one will click

right now i am also feeling quite uncomfortable 

which is normal . . . right?!

maneuvering around is tough

from getting in bed to getting out

from getting into the car to getting out of the car

from picking up something off the floor 

to getting up from the floor

seriously . . .

i'm officially a penguin 

but its so hard to sleep

my hips

oh my womanly voluptuous hips

they go numb in like 15 minutes from sleeping on each side

i'm ready for that to go away

truly though . . .

being pregnant is the most magical & amazingly miraculous thing any woman can go through

we feel so blessed to be chosen to be his mumma & daddy

2 weeks ! ! ! 

were going nuts over here cause were all so excited

especially since it's the first grandkid on both sides of our families

to my sweet baby boy,

we are awaiting your entrance into this world

the feelings between your mumma & daddy are unexplainable

we are so over joyed 

to become a family with you

love . . . love me do

our yearly lil family christmas traditions

as a child i grew up with my own mini tree in my room

i made my own decorations

& strung the lights on it

it made my whole childhood so magical for christmas

& was a fantastic night light

(i'm afraid of the dark, even to this day. . . yeah i know)

every year since we have been married(4)

we go out into the wondrous white land

or across the street 

haha shhhhh . . .

& scout out the perfect bare branch

why a bare branch?

cause they are just as beautiful to me as a lively green leafy branch

we had bare branches i painted white at our wedding reception

trees are very meaningful to josh & i

ever since "our" beginning

we found this huge long branch thats about 8 ft long

we bring it home & hang it above our bed or put it in a corner

then we string lights on it

& put very simple glass ornaments on the limbs

i love the look

the ambiance in our room is both romantic & jolly

makes us feel little again

the spirit of christmas is definitely thrown up in out home

just to keep my mind off of 

wanting to go into labor

& meeting our mini  mr. wright

family christmas traditions that are past down are so much fun

but creating your own . . .  for your new family

it's pretty cool if i do say so myself

we'll probably have a branch like this in each of my kiddies rooms one day . . .

& i enjoy dressing them up for the holidays

this last summer i gave them a bunch of buzzed haircuts
& it came to me . . .
this year for halloween i can shave them into little unicorns
ding ! ! !

it took awhile to shave them & color their manes & tails with washable marker
but it was worth it ! ! !

how freaken cute are they! hahaha

i already know what i'm doing for next years costume  . . .

pumpkin patch 2013...

gosh i have been awful lately at keeping up with my blog
being pregnant
especially in the last trimester
i'll admit, it's a bit tough sitting on the computer for more than 2 hours.

so . . .
from now on i am going to try my best to play catch up
i have so much to share
& i'll regret it if i don't get going on it now!

lets rewind back to the beginning of october
it's a yearly tradition to take the doggies to the pumpkin patch & pick punkins.

my pocket & monday are so good
no really!
it's freaky their so good
they act like little humans in front of the camera
& are very well mannered around crowds of people
let's just say we're very proud parents haha

plus . . . they both take the cutest pictures!

i'm about 29 weeks here

one morning i woke up & didn't even recognize my face

i had a bit of breakdown

i tried doing de-puffing masks, put cold cloths on my face, watched my salt intake, 

started drinking a ton of water (on top of what i already was consuming), & exercised more.

nothing worked.

welcome . . . please make your self at home STUPID EDEMA!

i'm on track with my weight & no signs of other complications

i'm not puffy or swollen on my hands or feet . . . just my face

awesome.

you dream of becoming pregnant

& finally when it happens

your body is taken over

it is not yours anymore

things you thought you would go through like getting the wondrous pregnancy glow

well . . . it was there in the beginning haha 

for me at least

some women are so lucky & glow their whole pregnancy

but me

nope.

i have pregnant face & it won't go away till after birth.

but . . . i'm learning to embrace my pregnancy face

i asked for it  . . . right?!!!

my mini man is absolutely positively worth every symptom i'm going through 

& i wouldn't have it any other way!

lets just say i've become more voluptuous :)

i will be trying to post everyday. . . or every other day
