today i got to playin with my furry children and wanted to take photo's of them of course! so here is our play date... we just want it to be warm so bad... we imagined ourselves doing warm sunny things....can ya tell hee hee....love my pupps!

here's a sneek peek of one of the most beautiful people i know....pregnancy is such an unreal moment in time...was the first time i felt a fetus have hiccups in the womb....got me teary eyed.
today i was feeling the need to get on the roll with all of my many projects...and so far so good. while i was attacking my projects i was listening to one of my favorite songs and new this would be perfect for todays music feel. called fire in your knew shoes by Kaskade feat. Martina of Dragonette. it's for sure a pump up feel good song and it really connects to my feminine side. Kaskade is an amazing DJ and i found out that he started his journey at BYU and also went to University of Utah, nice! Dragonette is a great little group as well, Martina Sorbara's voice is very seductive and so easy to listen to. plus any video with old vintage camera's is my cup of tea. enjoy....
i posted a while ago that i had a project in mind for quite sometime....i'm learning it's not going to be done in one day but i will post little updates on how it's going...but i can't wait till it's finished....for now i got the frames painted...
pillows make me happy! i love them and want millions of them everywhere. i want to make all kinds, so you might be seeing pillow land coming from this blog of mine. i purchased a fluffy 12x12 pillow at a fabric store (for 9 bucks) and made this black & white striped pillow case out of a duvet cover i messed up on hee hee but it turned out perfectly. i'm trying to venture out in other designs, away from stripes but i just can't help myself, there soooooo easy and simple and bold......i'm smitten with stripes, yes sir i am.
oh and please don't mind the lint on the pillow, remember i live with 2 hairy hairy hairy little fur balls but i love them...
first i have to let you all know that i have an addiction...yes an ALL out bad bad lovely addiction......
with J Crew....completely obsessed and smitten over the look that J Crew creates. today i want to share one of my top 5 photographers in this world. he is the man that captures the essence of J Crew...Mr. Daymion Mardel. his composition and the muted colors he uses, and just how he makes the frames POP blows my mind. then again it does help the models are wearing J Crew...mmmmhhhmmmmmm
a little tid bit about the genius...he's former first assistant and studio manager to the legendary Richard Avedon(who also mesmerizes me), Daymion spent his childhood traveling via volkswagen bus absorbing western europe’s art and culture first hand. how cool is that. one day...one day...
personally looking at other photographers work inspires me..makes me want to keep learning and push myself more and more...i DO NOT compare my work to others because it does NO good. photography is artistry and everyone's work is unique and it should be, if everything looked the same....um boring, thats what makes this world so beautiful. so thank you Daymion Mardel for adding to my fire for my passion.
thought i'd share with you my first fondant cake ever made by me...it's NOT perfect but i'm pretty proud how it turned out. it's one of my best friends birthday today so i dedicate this post to her, you'll know her face on my blog. she loves owls and so i thought i will attempt to make her an owl cake....and it turned out to be not a disaster yaya.

Adele.....wow. what a powerful, smoky, lively, unique, contagious and gorgeous voice. this song is insanely catchy and clever. she was born to sing. can't wait to get her album coming out february 22 called Adele 21.
this post is a random and a personal story that i thought i'd share to anyone who wants there special someone to grow out there hair....haha
first off....i'm a sucker when it comes to long dirty hair on men....even when little boys have that bohemian shaggy classy rocker look...i think it just sooooo gooood looookin...
my husband and i made a bet last march of 2010 that he would grow his hair out to 13 inches and in return i would give him an hour massage once a week. it's almost been a year since he started and it's been tough on my part cause...c'mon....an hour long massage every week.....seriously what was i thinking. joshua has gone through the awkward stages and it's finally grown to be about 6 inches...he still has a long way too go but......I LOVER IT!!! so look forward to month to month updates until it reaches 13 inches...
i will take an updated picture every month, so the next one is the beginning of march....just you wait...oh and don't mind these pictures...not edited
this little guy is 3 years old and had so much wisdom already...he was a joy to shoot...didn't complain that it was freezing...focused on everything i said...hope i have kids this obedient...
