chocolate...

tomorrow is my one and only beautiful sister londyn's 12th birthday and i attempted again to make a fondant covered cake. she is obsessed with chocolate, only chocolate, nothing can every be mixed in with it unless it's a chocolate substance. she has no idea what i made and tonight i get to surprise her with her favorite chocolate icecream birthday cake...

again please remember...this is my 2nd time doing a professional cake, so it's NOT perfect and oh boy is it tough work....i'be been up since 9 and have finally finished. i love how it turned out and i know she's going to be so happy with it.

pregnancy....i can't say it enough...it is such a god given miracle and the most beautiful experience in life. life....life...life...it's so precious...take every minute in!

mmmmm i love me some tunes...the thrills and vibes that go through my body make me feel so alive. today i have a 2 freaking yummy goodies from Ellie Goulding called Starry Eyed and Lights. i had to do 2 of her amazingly talented songs cause i'm REALLY feelin them both....her cords are so peculiar and addicting. She is a very well known brit with that soothing... soft... strong voice, she’s one of the rare ones who can swing from earnest folky stuff to dance-your-pants-off pop in an instant. her new album Lights hits stores next tuesday...so so so on my to do list that day. hope you likey & enjoy....

lovely items of the day...

i came across these bowls when i was planning my wedding and was completely obsessed with them. there an item on the internet that i look at once a week and just go gooo gooo gahhh gahhh over them. my mum is a lover of bowls and she has really opened my eyes to all the fabulous bowls out there. she has millions in her home that i want to steal.....hmmmhmmm. so thanks mum for getting me attached to the beauty of bowls...one day my dream kitchen will have a whole gigantic shelf of them.

loyal loot collective has some unique home decor idea's but i am in LOVE with there bowl collection and i will own a dozen of them one day.

i have a problem...you will notice i have a lot of problems...and this addiction is all about nail polish. seriously each time i go to the store to pick up something, it's a habit for me to pick out another new color of nail polish. i paint my nails at least 2-3 times a week if i have time, my nail polish collection i have about 50 bottles, i would have more but some of them go all gooey. it's one of my favorite things to do, relaxes me, makes my fingers and toes happy and look healthy. i love to find out what brands of nail polish are the best for your buck, here is one brands that i appreciate called Scotch. they have muted colors which i love and the polish actually stays on for a week without chipping. kind of a pricey bottle but soooo worth it.
