Memorial Day will be a day to remember!! Our little Pocket was having too much fun with these cute little girls that one of them fell on her and broke her forearm. Pocket had to stay overnight at the Emergency Vet Hospital and I'm tellin ya....my husband and I slept horrible! We picked her up this morning and she was soooooo excited to come home but she has not stopped whimpering cause she so frustrated with her splint that she can't move as well as she did. The splint is on for only 4 weeks but that is FOREVER for a dog....
This was actually really hard for me....when she broke it at the scene she let out this horrible sad little cry and I hate seeing anyone in pain especially my baby Pocket. She truly is like a baby and I know one day when it's time to have a baby that I will be fully prepared and honestly I can't wait but for the way I acted with Pocket when she got hurt....gosh I don't know how I'm going to react with my real baby! But Pocket is my baby and to see her little spirit hurting and frustrated is the saddest thing ever and I'm hoping that this will be an easy process for her...can't wait for the day she can run like the wind again....it's her favorite thing to do!
So for now here is her cute little Purple Pink Splint.....

I'm sorry about Pocket. I always get nervous that something will happen to my Mia. Those little fur balls are a bundle of joy.
